Hillfields Community Library

Hillfields Community Library offers a range of services and allows users to use computers, and access the internet, provides advice and support with enquiries, access to learning materials, and loan books.

Covid Update :
Due to Coronavirus restrictions, we have restricted opening times at the moment : the computers are only available between 10am and 2pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
You can either call the library from 9.30am to book an appointment, or you can just come to the door and ask (Please note that we cannot guarantee a computer if you do that as other people may have booked an appointment at the same time)
To use the computers you will need a library card. You can get one for free, you will just need to bring a proof of address with your name on it.

Please be aware that you are only allowed 45 minutes on the computer at the moment.

Printing, photocopying and scanning

WATCH provides the ability to print, photocopying and scanning, the service we offer is charged at the following rates:

A4  – Black and white: 10p per sheet
A4 – Colour: 20p per sheet
A3  – Black and white: 20p per sheet
A3 – Colour: 40p per sheet
Scanning : 50p per sheet

Covid Update :
As we are not taking cash at the moment, 5 printouts are being given for free per person.

Training rooms

WATCH has a self-contained training room, a facility that can be used for a range of activities, the room houses 10 computers currently all with a range of office programmes; there is also a central area that can be used for desk work and a dedicated wall for teaching with a whiteboard and projector.

This room is not just limited for teaching purposes and the layout can be flexible for the user’s needs. We hope that the training room will appeal to a number organisations, from health and exercise classes, to small courses run in a range of areas.

WATCH also has a community room providing an informal space for learning and meetings, the room is welcoming and comfortable for all. It can host up to 20 people seated.
