Coventry Community Energy Champions

Volunteer training day every Wednesday 2-3pm at the WATCH Centre.
 

Our team of volunteers help people in Hillfields experiencing fuel poverty and energy debt. Whether it’s home visits, helping people over the phone or a range of behind the scenes work, there’s is something here for you!

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Provision​

Education 4 All offers English classes in collaboration with the WATCH Charity. These classes aim to provide English language learning opportunities for individuals of all proficiency levels.

Monday @ 9:30 AM: Women’s Only English Class (Feel free to bring your baby with you)
Monday @ 11:00 AM: Conversational ESOL (In collaboration with Coventry Libraries)
Monday @ 12:30 PM: Community ESOL Class with Education 4 All

Enrolment for our ESOL classes is mandatory.

SKILLZ WITH HILLZ - RADIO TRAINING

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 10:00am – 12:00pm

During this 6 weeks course, you will go through different topic around the radio and studio recording: Introduction to radio broadcasting – audio production & recording – professional presentation – creation of jingles – journalism – interview techniques – show planning

YOUNG PEOPLE'S PROJECT

Drop in sessions Wednesdays & Thursdays 3:30pm to 5:30pm

Our acclaimed youth project provides children, and young people with the opportunity to take part in a range of afterschool sessions in a safe, fun, environment.  Activities include; board games, table football, Art & crafts, and introduction to radio training through our community radio project.
